EEA2 Application - Advice Needed

Post by bandor » Wed Oct 12, 2011 5:14 pm

Hi all,

My partner and I are planning to apply under the EEA2. My partner is a EEA national and in full time employment in the UK so she will be exercising treaty rights. I was previously a student and at some point working but currently I'm neither employed nor studying.

my questions is this

As a partner of an employed EEA national do I or my partner require some form of comprehensive sickness insurance or is only reserved for students and self-sufficient applicants.

you replies will be most helpful

CSI is not required for workers.

It doesn't matter what you (non-EEA) are doing. It is the EEA national activities that count. All family member need to be covered if CSI is needed. In your case, there is no need for CSI at all.
