General Visitor Appeal after refusal

Hello,

A friend of mine has been provided with rejection and has been given the reason based on insufficient evidence in terms of:

His job and job assurance when he returns back to his country and that he would return back.

That he has sufficient funds to support his visit and his travel back.

And that his family friend in UK, who acted as sponsor for living and food expenses had not provided tenancy or mortgage documents or bank documents to support the sponsorship.


I wanted to know if this friend can appeal against the decisio and provide all the documents which would support his original application and appeal again the decision and the reasons ???

Or should he make a new application with all the documentation to eliminate any reasons given above. ???

Well which is it; family or friend? Only family visit applications carry a right of appeal and he would have been informed of his appeal rights (or lack of) in the refusal notice.

It was a general visitor applicatio visa.

Supported by a family friend.

In case he doesn't have right of appeal, can he apply again with more evidence and support or does he have to wait for sometime ???

He is planning to reapply, but is worried that reapplying with all the new documentation might give an impression that he is desperate to enter UK, and might get one more rejection.

Also, he had filled in income based on last years tax assessment, which is why case worker thought his income isn't enough. But since April, he has had better pay rate and better income, how should he go about this complication ??

Should he write a cover letter and provide explanation about his mistake in income declaration in first application and explain what is actual income is and back it up with employer letter, pay silp and statements ???

Any advice would be helpful.

Don't worry about re-applying immediately.
Do worry about filing a different earnings scale to that of the previous application.
Do write a letter attempting to explain why the previously stated earnings scale was not correct.
