Tier 2 Application

Post by Rajeev123 » Mon Oct 17, 2011 9:42 am

Hi Guys, hope you can help- I am working for my employer since Aug-2010 and my PSW expires on March 2012. Could you kindly let me know when to make the application and what details I should not miss. I have also convinced the HR to start the application in October/ November- so hopefull I will make the application in November.

Also I work as a sales executive- do you know what soc code will apply.

Plz reply.

First get your company registered with home office. This has to be done online and then send supporting documentation.

This usually takes about 45 days.

Once this is done and if your company gets a A rating then your employer has to request a COS for you.

Refer to UKBA website for relevant code of practise and look for your job title.

Your COS start date should not be more than 3 months of your application. (Means do not apply 3 months before your job starts)

Obtain the COS from your employer and apply for TIER2.

Please note the job must be graduate level and earnings are at minimum £20000 year. (usually higher than 20K depending on your job title)

Profit :)
In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on :)
