Tier 1 - extension

Post by Drsadafrizvi » Tue Oct 18, 2011 12:47 pm

Hi,

I am on Tier 1 visa. Some of my maternity payment was witheld in early 2010 due to some confusion on part of my human resource department. This payment is being made now. Can I include this amount while claiming points from my earnings this year? My Tier 1 application is due to be re assessed in August next year. I would be very thankful for your advice.

Regards

Perhaps, if the payment will be reflected in the current payslip. Also may depend on the "description" under which such payments will reflect in the payslip.

Very many thanks for your reply. Perhaps they'll write the description as 'Back pay'.

kind regards

In that case, you will not be able to include it .. unless the"back pay" is for a month that falls within the 12 month window.
