Changing categories from Post Study Work to ????

Hi,

I am making some enquiries about the Post Study Work Visa, what you can and cannot do.

On the UK Border Agency website, it states this

"The category provides a bridge to highly skilled or skilled work. If we give you permission to stay as a post-study worker, we expect that you will switch into another tier of the points-based system as soon as you can."

I wanted to ask, what category can you convert the PSW visa into? Maybe I am looking in the wrong place, but it seems you can't.

You can neither extend nor "convert" your Tier 1 (PSW) leave. You may, however, switch to another immigration category that you may qualify for.
