Can i claim housing benefits

Hi,

We have a sepration and i have Tier2 general partner visa can i claim housing benefits for me and my baby without knowledge of main applicant.

Are you asking if you are entitled to claim housing benefit or are you asking if you are able to claim housing benefit without the complicity of your partner? The answer is no to the former. The latter is also likely to be no as any support from your partner will have to be included in the means-tested calculation.

Your immigration status is linked to your partner so separation puts your status in jeopardy. You should consider your options for the future.
