ICT (Short term 1 yr), Can i change job

Hi,

I got Short term ICT (skilled migrant) (salary <40K Pounds) stamped on 20 sept'11. My employer gave me CoS (and proposed salary structure). Now there is delay in my travel and my visa will be valid till 19 Sep'12. Can i Change job on this visa (CoS) and travel for a new company. Do i need new CoS from new employer.

One more query: -

HSMP is not in force now (if i am right) then what others means are through which i can try for work permit of UK (from my end)? ( I have no knowledge of UK visas)

You would need to meet the full requirements for Tier 2 general. You can't apply for this from inside the UK if you have existing leave of ICT

furthermore, i think you will need an entry clearance as well. meaning you must go back home and apply from there for tier 2 gen

i got visa on 20th sept 2011
still in india
my travel has been delayed... so i want to join other company (in india) to send me uk on their project
will my current visa work if i travel for other company
does the new company need to give me their fresh COS or my previous cos will work

It's completely new application with a new sponsor. You will be given a new visa. The new company will have to fulfill all of the resident labour market tests.
