tier 2 and ilr help

Post by sabu » Sat Oct 22, 2011 11:50 pm

I came to uk in jan 2009 as a dependent of Tier 1 general but have been in full time employment since then and finally got my own tier 2 in nov 2010 which runs out on 15 dec 2013.
My 5 year on residence without break and in full time employment complete 1jan 2014.
Can I apply for a direct ILR in dec 2013 or will I have to extend my tier2??

Assuming you have been a Tier 2 (General) migrant since Nov. 2010, then under current rules, the earliest you may apply for settlement is Nov. 2015.
