POE Application vs Normal/Postal application

Hi all

When comparing two , except from POE applications' being more expensive what other differences are there ?

And if I apply to an enquiry office personally , how long shall I wait approximately ?

I went there on the 20th of September this year to apply for my PSW. My appointment was for 10:15am. They allowed me in at 9:45am. I was out of the building with my acceptance letter by approximately 12:30pm.

Saying that, I did notice the PEO at Croydon was relatively empty!

A year before when I went to extend my Tier 4 visa I sat there, rather annoyingly, for over 5 hours.

So you're basically at the mercy of how many people are there at any particular point. I would suggest going in the mornings as that's when you can submit your application and get your case registered for consideration before the rush.

Ok but , what I am after is understanding the difference between the times to get the application result for POE and the normal way , does applying in POEs really introduce a few weeks regarding result of the application ?
