generating a COS HELP

Post by mcluv » Thu Oct 06, 2011 11:54 am

hi manager says says she had started a batch of certificates on the SMS, she left it for a while, she wanted to go back to the existing batch she had started but it wont let her add any information. she has tried to create a new one but the list of jobs coming up on the drop box is limited and my job role is not there. but on the other one that she can see but not add anything the job is there. On that existing one there it is giving her option to transfer but she can't transfer to anyone...

I am switching from PSW

i dnt know if this can be sorted out

I think input CoS which were not issued were wiped last Friday night because the UKBA did a software update. All sponsors should have received an email warning them about this. She may have to start again. The list of shortage occupations has been amended - they should look at the new one.

question

Post by mcluv » Sat Oct 08, 2011 12:51 pm

My manager has confirmed that my role is no longer on the shortage list! I however want to know, I am switching from PSW and have been in the role for over a year, the role will be exempt from the RLMT isn't it, so why has it to be on the shortage list, whilst it is exempt!!

what can my options be then, coz my organisation was prepared to give the COS so that i switch to tier 2

please help

You are switching from PSW and working for more than 6 months in the company, so there is no need for RLMT or job in the shortahe occupation list.

hi thanx that is what i thought! thank u for that!
I hope that is still the case, that there is no need for RLMT or for the job to be on the shortage occupations list if i am switching!

per annum salary on ukba list is given for 37.5 hours.

pro-rate it for 34.5 hours and *hope* that your actual salary is same or above the required threshold.

if its not, your app will be rejected
