no recourse to public funds meaning ?

Post by hamster88 » Sat Oct 29, 2011 10:12 am

Hi my wife has spouse visa but it says no recourse to public funds on the visa. I know this means she cant get any benefits, but does it mean she cant get anything funded by the government such as training also ?
thanks

The list of public funds can be found on the UKBA website. Anything that is not on that list is not a public fund.

I have moved your topic to this Public Funds section, and invite you to have a good read here, particularly of the pinned topics.

There you will see that your comment "I know this means she cant get any benefits" is very very wrong! Never ever equate "Public Funds" and "benefits".
