Please help

Post by McJoey » Fri Oct 28, 2011 10:38 pm

Hello, my name is Joseph and Im nearly 21 (I arrived at the end of 2001). I came here with my bro and mum at age of 11. I lived here illegally after 2004 I am an illegal immigrant and i want to turn my self in because my mum kicked me (she is also illegally here but she has enough money saved up so she is fine) out of the house and i dont know where else to go so I decided to just hand my self in but I dont know what to do or where to go. I currently dont have much money and im writing this at an internet caf. I will probably have to sleep on the streets for today and maybe tomorrow.

I dont really want to sleep on the streets so it would really be great if someone just gives me the address and phone number of some immigration place in Birmingham. Thank you very much.

Are you looking for a night shelter / accommodation in this hour of need (accommodation issue) or searching for assistance to help you leave the UK (immigration issue)?

No, I do not want accommodation or to leave the UK. I want to go to Home Office and live legally (that's ofcourse if they don't send me back). I just want to know where I need to go.

What is your nationality?

What identity documents do you have?

I'm from Kazakhstan and I lived here for 10 years. Can someone please just tell me where I need to go to turn my self in? That's ALL I WANT! I all I want is for someone on here to tell me where in Birmingham I need to go to turn my self in to the proper authorities.

Turning yourself in .. will probably lead to you being detained and then deported (as you yourself state that you have been an overstayer since 2004). For that, all you need to do is enter the doors of the nearest police station and declare yourself as an overstayer.

But you stated earlier that you wish to "regularise" your stay in the UK. If you wish that others provide you appropriate feedback about how and where where you can seek assistance with regards to legalising your stay in the UK (if that is possible, based on your circumstances), then it will help if you answer the questions being asked.

IMHO ....

Thanks for that information Sush. But what if I go to my local Home Office instead of police station?
Also I want to point out that my brother was about to be sent back but because he didnt have the passport from Kazakhstan they wouldnt let him in the country. We dont really have Kazakh passports anymore so that country will not accept us.
