Hi all just about to apply for EEA family permit and was wondering what I should put in the spouse letter for me non EEA spouse's application

In such letter write anything that may be relevant for the decision to grant the EEA FP or not, and which is not dealt with already in any of the questions of the VAF5 application form.

In most cases this will amount to "NOTHING", i.e. no cover letter needed.

If I were to write a covering letter, I would simply list the documents you are submitting relevant to the application and state that you will be joined by or accompanying your spouse as the case may be.
