Visiting Ireland

Post by bosky001 » Wed Nov 02, 2011 5:28 am

Hello people, any experienced advise will be appreciated please!

Presently residing in the UK with a three years limited leave to remain, employed and married to someone with permanent residence {Indefinate Leave to Remain}, have two children together whom are British Citizen.

We are planning an holiday visit to the Ireland and someone mentioned about ''ACCOMPANY VISA'' to EU FAMILY Member. I have tried reading stuff about the procedures or process but could not find an exclusive literature on how to go about it.

Could anyone be kind to put me in right direction please?

Thanks in advance.

Visa required, except for Those, irrespective of nationality,

holding "family member" residence permit issued by United
Kingdom to a family member of an EU national TIRGL/EEU or
national of Switzerland, provided travelling with or

travelling to join the EU national.

The OP may not be able to obtain an EU family member visa as his wife is also a non-EU national (he informed of this in PM). However, his children are EU nationals. Can anyone more knowledgable answer the question, could the OP get an accompany EU family member visa to Ireland on the basis of his British children?

Or will he need to go down the ordinary tourist visa route?
