claiming SPP?

Post by GD78 » Fri Nov 04, 2011 1:25 pm

Would it be alright to claim Statutory Paternity Pay whilst on a Spouse visa or would this be considered a 'recourse to public funds'?

SPP is not within the definition of Public Funds, as in para 6 of the Immigration Rules, so absolutely no problem you being paid that.

Not only that, SPP is paid by your employer, not the Government.
