Death in UK while visiting UK

I just wanted to find out what needs doing as a guardian/sponsor when a person passes away in UK while visiting UK?

in above case person passed away had valid visa (valid for another 3 months) at the time of the death, and the person was cremated in UK and obtained Death certificate for the person.

as a sponsor do they need to report to home office in anyway?

You don't need to do anything else if the consulate of the deceased has been notified; something which is already very likely to have happened.

Note if you wish to take the deceased person's ashes back to his/her home country aboard an aircraft you need to seek permission from the airline first.
