book an appointment at PEO (not online)

I can see that it is virtually impossible to make an online appointment at the PEO for leave to remain.
this is the contact info for each office, but phone number seems to be a central line which advice using online booking.

Being a smart-mule , I wonder if there is an alternative way to book it?
Has anyone made a booking via phone which is not provided in homeoffice site? If so, where can I get these contact info?

I tried to book online whilst abroad and the system didn't work. I tried looking for a phone number but to no avail and then found the following:

"If you wish to book for parties of 10 (or 11?) or more, OR do NOT have internet access" then you may telephone us on..........(The number is on the UKBA website somewhere

I phoned the number and was offered two appointments on the first day we could apply and other appts the day or so afterwards.

Staff where very helpful and I phoned up at the beginning of October and got straight through.
