Need Help and Advice on Family Visitor Visa

Hello Experts,

I wanted to get some expert advice on my visa situation and sponsering my parents visit visa.

My Status
I am currently on a Tier 1 Visa which is due for an extension on May 2012.

My Situation
My wife is expecting . I want to call my parents to in feb 2011 in UK on a visit visa

My Query
Will my Visa status effect my parents Visit Visa application. I want to know the what should be the best way to apply their visa so that they can stay in UK for 6 months.
