my UK visa was valid till feb 2011 and I voluntarily left UK in sept 2011, just 10 days after my appeal was refused from within the UK, but the on arrival immigration officer in india could not understand this and he wrote removal from uk on the stamp, yelling at me why i overstayed for 5 months.
Will this affect me in going anywhere, please advise and also can I do something about this?
Nowadays many visa application forms have a section where you have to declare any adverse immigration history in other countries, such as deportation, refused entry and visa denial, giving details. It will then up to the country to decide what to do with you. It may or may not affect your chances of getting a visa from that country, but nobody can tell you for sure. You just have to apply and see what happens.
