Tier 2 (ICT) delay

Hi Folks,

Can someone please help:

Application type : Tier 2 (extension) ICT extension
Place: Croydon
Applied for biometrics: 29th Sept

But havent received passport/BRP yet even after 8 weeks. Most of posts on this forum seem to indicate that it takes less than 4 weeks on average after biometrics. All i wanted to ask is whether this is 'normal' or is there a cause for concern? Also, is there a home office number where we can get updates? I looked at UBKA site but couldnt find one.

1. Normal, because every application is assessed on its own merits and not whether it should be decided within a timeline that an applicant may assume to be.
