Tier 1 Migrant (UK) Applying Visa for doctor wife_Pakistan

Post by Uetian77 » Tue Nov 29, 2011 10:05 pm

Hello every one, I heard about this forum from a friend to clarify couple of confusions

I am Tier 1 Migrant here in UK and intend to Apply for ILR in Apr-2012. Recently married and planning to apply visa for wife. She is doctor and currently working in Pakistan.

_ Shall I apply Point Based Migrant's dependent visa for her??, given the fact that I ( the main applicant) has left only a few months of my visa after which I will be applying for ILR. Moreover if I apply for dependent visa for her she will not be eligible to work/practice as a doctor.

_ Is there any other category in which I can apply visa for her??

Thanks in advance
Iftikhar

There are five Tier 1 categories. Which one are you in UK on?

1. Remaining validity of your leave is not relevant.
2. Choose between "no employment as a doctor in training posts" or "possible changes to family route in the near future", and decide accordingly.
