Spouse Visa

Post by vw100 » Wed Nov 30, 2011 11:29 am

Hello

I have prepared my application for my wifes spouse visa, and am due to fly out to go and visit her in the next couple of days, and the plan was to do the application whilst am out there. However the English requirements test (IELTS) she failed to meet the requirement by 0.5 of the required score in 1 of the bands today. Now we are reluctant to do the application incase it gets refused on this basis. My question is my application has bank statements, and other documents relating to the previous 6 months. prior Dec 2011. And the next available date for a test is around the end of Jan 2012 and the result approx 2 weeks after.

Would this affect my application or would i have to submit up to date documents such as jan bank statement, wage slip for jan 2012, or can i write a statement saying this was the plan and now we cannot go ahead due to not meeting the english test requirements and therefore will submit application in feb 2012

The issue, is i will take all the documents, however if i will have to send the jan bank statement, wage slip etc via post, but now i can take all the documents with me.

I did a statuory declaration document from a nortury and it is prepared from my current documents and funds balance. But he told me it is valid for 6 months, howver in Jan my funds will go up and wont reflect whats on the declartion document.
