Entry Clearance from Pakistan, already having PSW

Hi, I applied for entry clearnce on 12th of September 2011 for entry clearnce as dependant of tier4 but my application is still under process. I called and emailed VAC in UAE but they keep on saying that checks are not completed yet. Is there anyone else facing same situation. The time line is:
Applied at VAC Islamabad on 12-09-2011.
Application dispached for processing on 14-09-2011.
Application under process on 23-09-2011.
My PSW is valid till 20th Feb 2012.
