i have used the agent for my hsmp file.agent is saying he has placed file since 2 weeks. but as of now the hsmp fee has not been charged from my credit card??

can anybody please help how much time home office takes normally for charging the credit cards after receiving the application.

Since you are using an agent, why not call him up to ask whatz up? I think he's in the best position to tell you the reason for the delay. Obviously he must have handled similar cases in the past.

i have called him up and he said home office can take 2 weeks time maximum. but as i read through this forum it generally takes 2days once you submit the application.

can any senior members please help.

The time required for the credit card to be charged varies. In my case, it was charged the same day application was received by the HSMP team. I am not sure about 2 weeks being the maximum time.

Is it possible that an attempt made for the transaction would have failed? In that case, your application might be returned to you.
