Hi All,

I am working on tier-2 in UK from last 9 months. I am an Indian resident. One US employer has filed my H1B case. Hopefully next month it will be approved. After that I need to book an appointment for interview. Please tell me if I can book an interview in US embessy London or do I need to go back to INDIA for Interview. Please guide me on this.

Hi Guys,

I would appreciate your help if you can help me.

I came to UK 3 years back in 2008. Finished education and got Post Study Work (PSW is OPT in UK). Fortunately I got an offer during PSW and had been with that company till my PSW got expired. Now, I have been sponsored by the company Tier2 (General)[This is just like H1B in USA, you are tied up to a company and you would have not more than 15 days to evict country if your employee screws you]. In fact there are routes to settlement.

Now you might understand my situation. I am not happy in UK and would like to obtain a H1B and I have been looking for sponsor's. This is a bigger issue, but if I get a sponsor, can I apply H1B from UK or should I go back to India.

Simply its like this

India --> UK (Student) --> UK (PSW/OPT) --> UK (Tier2/Sponsor) --> USA H1B.
