Claiming JSA while awaiting decsion on EEA Parmanent reside

Hi,

I am EEA family member (non-European) married a Lithuanian and sent my application for the EEA2 card before the end of my student visa and I received certificate of application

My wife is working full time and I am actually looking for a job

I have been attending many interviews but most of them asking for visa and they said no guarantee of this letter to keep working with them after 6 months (Certificate of Application)

1/ Anyway, while awaiting for my EEA2 residence card, can I apply for JSA, Council Tax& Housing benefit?

2/ Will that have a negative impact on my residence card and in the future will it affect my British Citizenship?

How long ago did you submit your form EEA2? Did your wife submit a form EEA1 at the same time? Or has she previously made such an application?

You claiming JSA? There are two types of JSA. Firstly contribution-based, and that can certainly be claimed, if you have paid enough NI contributions. The other type, income-based, probably will not succeed as your wife is working.

Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit? Your wife should claim, and the amount, if any, she might receive will depend upon how much she earns, and how much rent and council tax is paid.

Any such benefit claims will not have any impact upon residence card or naturalisation applications later made by you.

I submit my EEA2 visa two month ago but still waiting for my documents
No my wife didn't submit EEA1 application

ok will that effect about decision of my visa as I haven't returned my document yet
