Can Holder of Australian PR apply for UK Permanent Residence

Hello,

I am an Indian National and I seek important advice. I am living in UK on a Tier 1 Visa, due to apply for UK permanent residency, however, I have also got Australian PR.

I am living in UK and intend to settle here, however, not sure whether I can apply for UK PR, now that I have got Australian PR.

I would be grateful if any of the informed, could let me know, whether I can apply for UK PR, now that I got Australian PR and do Australian PR have any bearing on my UK ILR application ?

Reference to any law or policy document or link to home office guideline would be appreciated.

I don’t think so it would cause any issues. You can hold the PR of both countries. Even if you had Australian Citizenship, you could still hold dual nationalities (as both UK & Australia allow dual citizenships).
