I may be travelling to UK on "Intra company transfer" work permit under tier-2 of point based system (PBT). My wife is currently working in India. As per my knowledge, spouse of a person with valid work permit is allowed to work in UK. My wife would want to like to continue working for the same employer, however I have a few questions in this regard -
- Does my wife need to resign from her company if she wants to travel with me under dependent VISA?
- In case my wife's employer decides to process her work permit independently (as main applicant) then will her dependent VISA get cancelled?
- After some time if my wife decides to get separated from her employer ( as main applicant) then can she stay with me under dependent VISA (if point 2 above is "no"). Or will she have to apply for a new dependent VISA (if point 2 above is "yes")
- Also, does she need to come back to India to apply for dependent VISA or can this be done while staying in UK?
