Tier 1 Extension, Booking Appointment In Person, MAJOR ISSUE

Post by DLAM » Tue Dec 06, 2011 10:39 pm

HI there

my visa expires end of january

for one week i have been registered and logged in online to try and book a premium in person application

i check about 6 times a day and i have called
they always say they are booked........now throught January 18!!!

and i should check back online

has ANYONE had any success booking an appt online?

I dont think it should be this difficult (sigh)
as the cost is already 1300 gbp

and every time i log on, im told try different dates or locations, booked out

and when i call they say they are booked out and i should try online....

does anyone know what 'time' they release appointments???

bc i was told they release them daily (but still havent seen them)

and i heard a rumor midnight is best time to check......

is there a trick to making an in person appointment ???

please help. thank you :?

They release new dates at 0000 HRS meaning 12 o clock at night. There are few guys on this board, who spent few days just for this and atlast got the appointment. So keep on trying.
The question is... to be or not to be....

Hi DLAM,

I do agree with ZAHID. We have taken our appointments at 0000AM of the day. I think it gets released during that time. But we got a date after 6weeks. Thats the lead time we had.

Good Luck!

Regards

Jac

clarification on midnight

Post by DLAM » Wed Dec 07, 2011 10:49 am

so at midnight they release appointmens for --->

THAT day - same day ONLY?

or at midnight do they release appointments for

6 weeks in advance additionally?

bc what I am trying to capture is when they release the January 19 date.... as they said on phone this morning they are fully booked for premium straight through Jan 18 (!!!).

also - to save time/sanity - do you think its pointless to check throughout the day (bc they dont release then anyway)

thank you for tip, will try at midnight

this process has been, in short, unbelievable.

If you don't mind paying an agent fee, I suggest you go through an agency. They have pre-blocked times and should be able to get you a slot within the next 2 weeks.

Fees start from £900+ - but at the risk of not being able to extend your visa - I would think it's worth the price.

Post by DLAM » Tue Dec 13, 2011 12:15 pm

do you have any reccomendations on reputable agencies

2-3 names?

bc there are a slew out there, but not sure which ones can in fact do what they say and get me an appt for 900 gbp ,etc
