pwv visa refused. Please help

I am using my fiancés account, with her permission. My pwv has been refused because i didn't have the correct funds in my account. My dad supports me financially, so i sent a copy of my dads bank statement, which had maintained above the £800 for 90 days, along with a letter from him stating that he fully supports me financially. I was served with the rejection on 18th November, but i only received it today due to postage problems, which the HO are aware of. It says i have to leave the UK asap unless i wish to appeal. How long have i got before i have to leave? They say in the appeal form, i have to tell them of any reasons as to why i should be to stay in the UK. Should i mention that i have a 1 year old son, who is British, and a fiancé , who i don't live with, but intend to do so once i get a job? I know this doesn't give me right to stay in the Uk, but under human rights law, am i not entitled to a right to family life? i am seeing a solicitor in 2 days but i don't even know if i still have time to appeal, as i only received the letter yesterday. Please help.

UKBA is perfectly within its right to not accept your dad's statement as it is not one of the approved ways (as per guidance notes) to claim maintenance points.

i dont know how far you will go with 'human rights' case as i am not a lawyer but do you have kids born in uk etc etc. which would add credibility to your claim of 'right to family' in my opinion...but again im not a lawyer so i dunno!
