Corrections to form during an in-person appointment

Post by 183807 » Sun Dec 11, 2011 9:38 pm

Hi Guys,

At the PEO office, while evaluating the application form, do they check with the candidate in case they have any confusion or doubts or if something is unclear? Are the authorities friendly? A friend of mine suggested me to carry a blank form with me so that I can make any kind of corrections, if required. My question is whether there is any scope during the process where the case worker points out any anomaly and changes can be made immediately?

Regards,

if you are not sure about anything.... ask on this forum

if you get a bit un-friendly caseworker, he/she will not give you that luxury.

Do keep an empty form handy, but that should be your last bet.

caseworkers are under pressure to decide applications within reasonable amount and they wouldnt normally appreciate that you failed to answer half of the questions on your app form!

The answer may fully depend on the caseworker. If he is friendly ( some of them are), he might allow you to do the corrections. I had carried a spare form with me when I went for the PEO. (didn't have to use it)

I haven't heard any cases of them rejecting Visa for any minor mistakes in form anyway. So be positive.
