Hi,
I have my account with Llyods TSB account and as proof for maintenance of funds, I printed out my internet banking statement and got it stamped and signed by the Bank Manager. My in-person PSW appointment at Cardiff PEO is on 22nd December. I received an email today from BEU.Cardiff@ukba.gsi.gov.uk asking me to confirm my appointment. What is worrying me in that mail is the paragraph that I quote below:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“We will need to see at least your last 3 months bank statements, which must include your most recent statement, which must fall within the last 28 days of the day of your booked appointment (if you haven't received your statement through the post before your appointment, then please attend your bank and ask them to print off this statement for you. They will stamp, sign it or print it on headed bank paper). We do NOT except any internet bank statements, even if you only have an internet bank account (paperless bank account), this WILL NOT be excepted as an excuse or reason for you to not go to the bank and obtain statements from them. We will send you away to obtain your statements from the bank on the day.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My point is on the other pages of the UKBA website (http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas- ... intenance/), they mention that they will accept print outs of internet banking statements that are stamped and signed by the bank officials. I am not sure why the Cardiff office has mentioned that they won’t accept this as proof. Could anybody please throw some light on what is the best step to be taken now as I have less than a week for my appointment? Llyods Tsb is extremely finicky about providing statements. They even refused to provide me a letter stating that I have maintained the funds for 3 months. I would really appreciate if someone could help me at the earliest.
Warm Regards,
