Tier 2 ICT (Short Term) query

Hi ,


My query is regarding Tier 2 Intra-Company Transfer (Short Term) application for Entry clearance from outside UK.


I have the following ready :


1) Certificate of Sponsorship

2) Appropriate Salary declaration

3) Maintenance Funds declaration

4) IELTS Score Card (Band 7) for language skills


Now I have gone through the policy guidelines and immigration rules from the UKBA website. I have a doubt regarding the documents to be submitted along with VAF9 and Appendix 5.

Since I am not applying to extend my stay beyond 3 years under INtra company transfer, I understand from the policy guidelines that points need not to be scored for English ability and hence a degree certificate is not required for that purpose.

Please let me know if this understanding is correct.


Also, would I still need to submit/produce a degree certificate (in original) for any other purpose with the forms to apply under the fore mentioned category?


Kindly help me with the query.

have you used a ukba calculator? i dont know about tier 2 ict first hand but that calculator should tell you if you need to score english language points or not...

The UK BA calculator no longer shows any requirement for qulification.
For the English Language skills, I already have a valid IELTS score card.

I want to know if the degree certificate is required or not for any other purpose which I might have missed out. If yes then I have to cancel the appointment and collect the same (deposited for higher education) first.
