Does anyone know what the requirements are for a child on ILE to aquire citizenship? Mother was naturalised as a British Citizen earlier this year.

Was child born in the UK?
How old is s/he?
How long has s/he been in the UK?

My daughter was born outside the UK. She received ILE entry clearance last month, and she is 13 years old.

As she is 13 years old, it is relevant to ask, how long has she lived in the UK?

The answer is probably ... only one month? If that is the case then she needs to live in the UK for two years, before an application can be made for Registration as British.

Thanks for your quick response. Do u know if there is any guidance surrounding this? I have been looking everywhere, however I can't see to locate this.
