Stamped Bank Account Statement 4 UK Spouse Visa Acceptable?

hi all,

i'm trying to bring my wife back from pakistan and i have all the docuemnts ready, but the bank statement is taking ages to get hold of. my solicitor said a stamped statement from your bank will be ok. however, ive read on forums of these not being accepted at times. can anyone share some light on the issue? i went to the bank yesterday and they gave me a full statement with each page stamped individually. the statement has my name and address on them as well. Please let me know your experiences as to whether this will be ok or not?
