Return of Documents

I have got my Biometric Residence Permit. But I haven't received my documents (passport, certificates etc. ). Is this normal ? Any help on this would be appreciated. Thank You.

The BRP arrives by courier, the passport and original docs by royal mail - so it is perfectly normal for the BRP to arrive first.

I have waited over a week and have called the UKBA office in Croydon 08706067766... they just told me that I have to continue to wait.... Is there any other number where I can get information about the documents from ??

That's the only number you can call at this stage. You seem to be forgetting the fact that most of the days since you have recieved your BRP have been the weekend/bank holiday hence probably the reason why you haven't r'd your passport yet.
