Hi,
This is my first post. And hopefully will get very constructrive feedbacks from the members of this forum.
Me and my wife got ILR on 11/11/2011. My child was born in uk, but at the moment he is living in India.He is 3 years old. When he was here he was o my dependent visa, which is expired on 07th dec.2011.
Now my question is In which category of visa should I apply for my child? ILR DEPENDANT??? or anything else as he is uk born child!!!!!!!

Settlement visa, in line with 304 - 309.

OP, choose the second option only if the child does not intend to travel to UK for some (at least 3-6) months.

Thanks a lot. So can I register him for a British citizen from india?? Or I have to bring him here on dependent visa and apply as a British citizen from here?? As currently he has no visa... Please guide me, many thanks again...[

I am going to apply for my child as a british citizen from Mumbai using form MN1 under section 1(3). My question is do i need to submit parents passoports along with the application?

Thanks, I will not be able to wait long in india during this whole procedure of 3-6 months as I live and work here. So will that be allright if I send an attested copy of my full passport with application? And is it necessary for the child to be present while making an application in the British Embassy???
