URGENT HELP REGARDING FUNDS

Hello Everyone,

my friend visa expiring on 16-Jan-12, his statement above 800starts from 20-Oct-11. If he order his paper statement on tomorrow (05-JAN-11), that will not cover 90days, i come up to the idea that we get the paper statement plus the Branch Statement with Bank Logo uptil 16-Jan covering 89days (exactly).
Will this be OK ?

2nd Option: i have barclays a/c & had enough funds from 15-Oct-11 onward, If i add my friend as a joint account, will this be able to help in sorting the shortage of 1day? Will the Barclays Kisok Statement with Stamp works with UKBA ? & if anyone knows how much time Barclays take to add a person as joint a/c holder with statement verifying that ?

Your first option is not OK. The application will be rejected, if indeed the time period is 89 days. It is important that the date on the closing balance of the statement is 90 consecutive days after he had 800 pounds in his account.

A joint account with his name might work, although I am not sure if both names will show as far back as October if you apply now? You need to consult your bank.
