Asylum for students

Post by Sinner » Sat Jan 07, 2012 2:15 am

Hello All.

I am on student visa from last two years in UK, couple of months before i got married to a girl who is on student visa as well but this marriage was against both parents, we are worried that by the end of our courses if we go back they might hurt us physically. Based on this can we go for asylum?

Thankx.

Yes, you may apply for asylum, as can anyone, but you may not be granted asylum. Your scenario sounds incredibly weak with regard to a successful claim but the very little information you have indicated is not sufficient for anyone to comment in further in a meaningful way. If you are serious about this you should seek competent professional advice before you blunder into something that has no merit.
