No it means that the parents either need to be applying at the same time as the child, or already be lawfully present in the UK.dependentquery wrote:Hi Friends,
I got my Tier-2 General visa last week. I am thinking of applying for my spouse & child next week at the same time.
However, reading the supporting document guide for Tier-2 General, I found the following regarding application for a child,
"If you are a child, you should provide evidence of both your parents’ status in the UK to show that they are lawfully present in the UK or are being granted entry clearance or leave to remain at the same time as you. See paragraph 319H (f) of the Immigration Rules for details of this requirement"'
According to the above, does it mean that if you have a dependent child, the visa application for the main applicant & his dependants should be made together?
If this is true, How should I proceed now, since I have already obtained the Visa.
Please reply.
Kind Regards,
Vikas
I don't understand why you think you can't.dependentquery wrote:Ok, Any ideas on how I could apply now for my wife & child only?
