change of jobs since application

Post by flyguy » Tue Jan 10, 2012 2:01 pm

Hi

I changed my job, just before a spouse visa application was submitted. Around a week before the application was submitted i started a new job.

The application form for my spouse has my old employment details. Can this cause a issue?

BTW - the job is full time, and pays tax & NI. Am in the UK

I dont think it will be a problem.

You could of included a note in your cover letter about your new job but they will make their decision based on what they have ie the 3+ months details.

you need to tell them (embassy or UKBA - depending on whether the application was made outside or inside UK), otherwise they could contact your employer to verify your employment and they will tell them you no longer work there.

The application was done 5 days after i started my new job, the application was prepared whilst i was in my old job.
