Same thing happend with my application, for 4 weeks they told the same answer "It is in final stage".... the reason is they are not sure whether to accept or reject one the document I produced.
They rejected it after sending urgent form...
Now they are not sure whether to accept or reject your application, they might be waiting for some one who can validate it.
If you send urgent form they might reject it straight away, so be careful... however i was successful with the second application.
Wait for another 3 / 4 weeks, if still no reply and if you cant wait, send urgent treatment form and if rejected apply again

Here is a thing, couple of months back i came to know that my case was in verification stage. and then on 25 Aug, 2006 my employers received verification call from local embassy. and give all the information they have aked. also asked to fax them my resume.
after that whenever i called them for status update they are saying my case is underconsideration and in verification stage, decission will be make shortly. and some time they saying it is final stages of processing.
now what comes to my mind is, that either mycase is still pending for more verification at local embassy or it is pending at HO office for futher process. thats why i wanted to know about "final stage" what that really means.
One thing i have heard that case goes of verification mode only if you have reached to required marks in all the sections. and if caseworker wanted to verify some of documents then they send request for verification.
As there was another case where he was getting same answers from HO, that "case is in final stage" or "case is underconsideration with caseworker" even month after the verification.
but at the end case turned out to be approved.
would you like to comment on this.
