SOC code for Software Programmer?

Hi,

I have been working as Software Programmer since 13 months and my PSW is due to expire in Oct, 2012. My current salary is £21500. Can anyone please tell me the SOC code for my job? The SOC code of 2132 corresponds to software developer, which I think does not suit my actual job description. Any help on this is much appreciated.

2.Programmer
3.Systems programmer
4.Software engineer
5.Systems developer

Few I found under 2132. One of this has to match? But almost all of these titles require you to earn 30K minimum.

Thanks for your reply. Programmer is the one that best matches my job description. But that is not on the shortage occupation list I think. So does my employer need to take a RLMT ?

Not required. As you have been working more than 6months RLMT is not required. Just concentrate on you pay rise. all the best

Not required. As you have been working more than 6months RLMT is not required. Just concentrate on you pay rise. all the best
