cos help!!

hey everyone, this might be a silly question, but ive recently sent in my passport and tier 2 out of country visa application, anyway my sponsor has mentioned that my CoS on the sms system has gone to status as USED by the UKBA on today's date. does anyone know what this means and if it is a good sign or not? thanks

It means that your application has been considered, and a decision should now have been made (although some ECOs seems to mark the CAS as used when they start considering, others do it when they have finished, and some don't do it at all!). In any case you should get a decision soon.
