waiting time for discretionary leave acknowledgement letter

hi peeps
can someone please tell me the average waiting time for discretionary leave acknowledgement letter because is a month now that i applied and i havent hear nottin and am really worried coz it shud only take two weeks to arrive ..is this normal or i should just call the home office....

there is no 'discretionary leave acknowledgement letter' what application have you made, on what form, and did you pay the fee? what is your current immigration status?
