Maintenance Funds

Hi,

I'm helping my girlfriend with funds for her application for a PSW visa. Since 16th November, we've had £2,800 in in an account of ours. Today, I made a mistake when tryig to put another £500. I got the accounts mixed up online and £500 went out. Within 3 mins, I corrected the problem and £3,300 is now in the maitnenance account.

My question is whether anyone knows if this is something they'll penalize her over? It was for a 3 minute period, after which it was corrected and I can back up that it was a 'typo' by showing that an extra £500 did go in that day?

Also, her name only went on the account at the start of January. Should she apply for the visa in mid Feb, can she use this account even though her name has only been on it for 1.5 months? She's adamant she can but I'm not 100% confident personally

Yeah I think she only needs 800£ that she has in the account, however she should have her joint account with you or anyone for at least 90 days before applying,

Is she applying from within the UK or outside of the UK?
Also, from what I understand her name has to be linked to the bank account for the entire 90 days.
When you do eventually print off the statement, see if it shows the end of day balance rather than every transaction. If it shows the former then I can't imagine there's a problem. The bigger problem is the name on the bank account.
