Help Please with filling the MN1 Form

Hi,

I granted the ILR dated 25/11/2010. My son was born on 14/07/2010 in UK. He is just 16 months old. I gonna apply for Regestered as a British Citizenship. I have facing some difficulties to fill the MN1 Form.

My Questions are:

1. What about Section 2.1 ?

2. Section 2.2 says the Address which is obviously less then 3 years but on the UKBA Site they says

"You should complete this section as fully as possible. If the application is being made on the basis of the child's residence in the United Kingdom, the child and their parents must have been physically present in the United Kingdom three years before the date which we receive the application"

It means that my son age is only 16 months so he is not eligible to apply as he was not physically presence according to 3 years criteria.

3. whats about Section 3 and Section 4 ?

Using your numbering :-

1. Enter date of birth and something like "Birth at ......... ".
2. Just enter address details since the date of birth.
3. What about those sections? Have you downloaded and read the MN1 Guide?

Do appreciate that yours will be a Section 1(3) application, an entitlement application .... no UKBA discretion involved.

Thanks for the reply I read the MN1 Guide and now realize that there is no need for Section 3 or Section 4 if the Child is born in UK and under the age of 10.

Am i right?
