Re: Tier-2 visa processing timeline

Hi,

I applied for Tier-2 visa from inside UK in October'11 and gave biometric on 10th December'11. UKBA website showed they were processing visa those gave biometric on or before 7th November until 02/12/2011. In the evening of 02/12/2011 they updated that they are considering visa for those who gave biometric on or before 10/11/2011-- My application fall in this timeline as I gave biometric on 10/11/2011.

The earliest I get visa is the best for me as I will be working in training post and my training is about to start 07/12/2011.

So if there is anybody can give a rough idea from their experience by how many days I can expect to get the decision from UKBA could be very relieving to me.

Hi, I have got an email from my solicitor, and my application was approved.

But my Biometric Residence Permit hasn't been updated, so I will probably able to work within the next week.

I have done biometric enrolment on 8/11/2011, so if I calculate the timeline in accordance with your information, I think it takes one week to get a result from when your application is on the process, and a few days more to commence work.

i too have given my biometrics on 8th nov 2011, my company deals with my solicitor...so have no info as of today.....

where did u get the info that the biometrics given before this date is being considered etc...as i am on vacation from next friday onwards and i am in a soup as to cancel or postpone my travel....

I keenly followed UKBA website regarding processing udates. UKBA updated on 02/12/2011 that they are processing application those gave biometric on and before 10/11/2011 and then they updated on 08/12/2011 that they are going to consider application those provided biometric on and before 17/11/2011--it is going on now. So it seems those who given biometric on or before 10/11/2011 has been processed last week and are likely to get reply this week.

God knows what is going on in UKBA, it is more than 4 weeks since biometric and have no reply-----quite dissapointing.

The above mentioned timelines by UKBA is just for guidance purposes.

Do not believe it as god's word. some cases get decided earlier than the published timeline while others take longer.
