Naturalization Process in Germany?

Post by litostx3 » Tue Jan 24, 2012 2:47 am

My fiance and I are planning to get married this summer while I am abroad in Germany to get me started on the three year naturalization process to obtain citizenship. My question is, how would this effect my current employment and schooling in the United States? I would change my residency to his address in Munich, but I would still attend school in the states (since he does as well) and would return to Germany with him on holidays. Since I would technically be an American citizen still, would this have an adverse effect on finishing my degree or a difference in my tuition? Does anyone else have experience of marrying a foreigner while still in school?

Thanks in Advance!
