South African: Tier 1 (General) and dependent mom

Hi all

I'm from South Africa and will be applying for a Tier 1 (General) visa soon, but want to take my single dependent 66 year old mother with me when I eventually move.

Is there a way for me to apply for my visa including/and hers at the same time, so that we are both able to leave for the UK together when we're both officially welcome to enter the UK?

Also, would she able to work once we're settled in the UK?

are you applying for Tier 1 General Initial application or extension ?

It's an initial application - applying from outside the UK.

Tier 1 General is now closed my friend. you cannot make an initial application from outside or inside UK
